As we enter grilling season we want to help you prepare and make sure your BBQ is clean and ready to be used! 🔥Cleaning the grease Over time through cooking your BBQ will accumulate some grease and food debris, but it is important to take time to clean this out to avoid flare ups or grease fires. Make sure you clean your drip try as well as the catcher for wet grease down below the BBQ. You can also purchase drip tray liners to make this cleaning process even easier! 🔥Inspect and clean burners For gas BBQs, your burners and ignitors may get a bit blocked over time. To make sure you are getting the full heat output from your grill, take a look over the burners and make sure you don't have any blockages preventing your BBQ from running at full capacity. 🔥Cleaning your smoker For those using a charcoal smoker like the Big Green Egg, although you don't have the same burners and components as a gas BBQ, you should still take the time to clean your smoker. Take some time to make sure you clean out any ash or charcoal debris that is left in the smoker. You can also do a hot burn off of the smoker to help give it a cleanout. 🔥Make sure you have fuel Worst thing that could happen is running out of fuel in the middle of your cook. So make sure you check those propane tanks and stock up on pellets and charcoal so you are ready for BBQ season!
